Many factors contribute to suicide. Stigma prevents people from seeking help. We want to change that.

The SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone) Task Force of Allegheny County aims to:

Bring awareness to and break the stigma of death by suicide in the County.

Facilitate and provide connections to trainings as well as to community and national resources.

Identify and support individuals most at risk of death by suicide.

Provide specific culturally sensitive support, resources and trainings for individuals and families of all communities.

Suicide is preventable if you know the warning signs and risk factors.

Join us at a virtual conference this Fall to discuss a comprehensive approach to suicide prevention. It’s open to anyone living in Allegheny County. We‘re looking for input and perspectives from people across many different professions and communities!
